...And let's
get practical, please!
You've probably heard about viral
marketing - maybe often. ...It's just a matter of setting things up so
that a promotion is taken up by other people. ...Undeniably
fine! That sounds like the epitomy of marketing efficiency - you
start it, others continue it without your making another move or paying
another cent.
But has anyone given more than a
handful of examples of what a business can do that's
"viral"? ...And have the examples you've seen been pretty
useless, because you're not a mega-corporation with a brand-new viral
concept to initiate?
That's what I've encountered - very
frustrating! (If I have to hear about the HotMail "proof"
one more time, I'll scream.) I don't do major Web business
launches at the moment, thanks, I'm into affiliate marketing.
Diagnosis: Too much
definition, not enough description. Lots of talking around
the subject, hardly any nitty-gritty help for the person who wants to put
some feasible viral marketing strategies into effect.
First, I was interested. Then discouraged.
Finally, I got kinda mad... And that makes me want to do
something about it.
Affiliate marketing is a
preoccupation of mine. I wanted there to be at least a few workable
ways to make it viral, for both affiliates and affiliate program merchants
- there had to be. I sleuthed around, began to think
virally, did some brainstorming, and
learned here and there the secrets of other folks...
Indeed there are viral
marketing strategies for affiliate marketers - lots of them!
I've put together an e-book
(a revised edition, in fact) containing all the ones I've found - so that you can have access to them
all now. In 13 chapters, I've identified over
80
different tactics that can be used specifically by affiliates and
affiliate merchants, in 11 categories of viral marketing possibilities.
(Look for the links to a bunch of online examples of many of these
strategies.)
Plus, I've described 50
resources one might choose to get the strategies implemented - and I tell
you why I think they're good options. (I hate it when people tell
you about things you can do and then don't even show you where to get
started in your investigation of the means to do it.)
I've used a number of these techniques
in my affiliate marketing-based business (as both affiliate and
merchant)... And there's no
reason why you can't do the same.
| "How
can you launch a hugely successful viral marketing campaign, one
in which you tell your friends, who tell their friends, who tell
their friends, etc.? A campaign that just keeps on
snowballing - with YOUR affiliate links imbedded in it?
Imagine what that would do to your affiliate commissions!
If you're like
me, you've read the Ideavirus book, you're fascinated by the
viral marketing concept, but after tossing around an idea or
two, you've put in on the back-burner. One day, maybe
you'll do something about it.
You're in
luck. Help has arrived... You'll be staggered by the
amount of ground covered here."

What about the "and
others" bit?
Yes, I was thinking of
affiliate marketing when I wrote this book. But part-way through, it
dawned on me...
The fact is that any
webmarketer can put to use almost every one of these viral marketing
strategies.
...So if you're not an affiliate
marketer (or you are, but that's not all your business consists of),
"and others" means
you!

"Wow!
Amazing! Incredible ideas, Sherry. I bought your book on
Thursday, started to read and couldn't put it down till the end.
This is exactly what I needed! You gave me so many ideas I don't
even know which one to use first. I am sure my business will
benefit greatly."

Along with Viral Marketing
Strategies for Affiliates and Affiliate Program Merchants (and Others),
you'll also receive two inspired, and diverse, examples of viral e-books...
Notice that I'm not calling them
"bonuses"; that's because they're not new - you may well have
bumped into them already - but that's beside the point. Because
(this is something else no one bothers to do for you) we'll investigate
them - along
with related promotional elements - in detail from the viral marketing
angle... Pull these clever viral systems apart and expose each
layered element, so you can see how easy it can be to interweave
effective viral elements into your own marketing efforts:

The first is 10
Great Dating Ideas... For Valentine's Day and Beyond
(by author Paul Myers - it's not just a great little idea
book for dating fun)...
AssociatePrograms.com's Allan Gardyne said...
"Take a closer look at how this works. It's a nifty
marketing concept..." And
we will look at it closely... Because there are some profitable
(though not necessarily obvious) viral marketing strategies manifested here
that anyone might
put to good use - for any audience. |

The second is Profit
Pulling Reports
(by webmarketer Jimmy D. Brown; and normally sold for $19.97)... A
step-by-step manual for the unpublished author (a really great book
for any marketer, by the way)... There
are some quite clever viral persuaders employed in this
example - that can lead to big profits! |

~~~
(Note for Mac users: The first example ebook is in .pdf format, the
other in .exe... But I do describe the viral elements of
both of them in detail. :^)
~~~
Oh yes,
there is a bonus, too...
An e-book I've
been gleefully collecting information for, called:
Fun Viral
URLs to Inspire... And How to Profit From Your Fun Web Thing
(in .pdf; not
available anywhere else or to anybody else - just you, when you order Viral
Marketing Strategies...).
| Tip for affiliate merchants and
affiliates:
Your affiliates and sub-affiliates
could use this book too... to your advantage!
