WEB/INTERNET SUPPORT:
(these are among the best affiliate programs for webmasters to
consider--and some for any old computer user!)
AffiliateShop
- this is good lesser-cost (single-tier only) option for affiliate program
management hosted on their server (as above, see the primer section "Setting Up Affiliate Programs"
for details); pays $30 per sale for the first sale
- but after that, you get $60 per sale... on a single tier
AffPage
for ClickBank -
this is a CGI script that mightily enhances one's use of ClickBank as an
affiliate merchant... allowing you to collect your intended affiliates'
names and addresses and IDs, and making it possible for them to use your
own domain name instead of ClickBank's linking code (among other things);
pays 50%, single-tier
DemandMail.com
- a late-breaking autoresponder service with no free version, but unlimited
sequential autoresponders (with quite sophisticated features) available
for one low monthly fee... hence, residual income; pays 35% on the first
of 4 tiers, then 10%, 2%, and 1% (plus bonus incentives)
EzineAnnouncer
- this fabulous software program allows you to announce the existence of
your ezine (and articles) to a vast array of directories, lists, and free
ad sources... and select individual listings to track results!;
submissions are fully automated where possible, but sets aside those
sources requiring email submissions (and mail-merges them); pays
35% on the first tier, 5% on the second
Free
Advertising System
- an excellent (e-book) explanation of how
and why to set up an affiliate program (particularly for digital
infoproducts) and how to promote it (by Jimmy D. Brown); pays 50%,
single-tier
GetResponse.com
- a
very professional and easy to use autoresponder service with 2 options,
free (one ad at the top) or with a reasonable monthly charge (and
everything is done from their servers); pays 30% on the first tier,
10% on the second (recurring commissions!)
Internet
Call Manager
- a service that allows you to manage your incoming
phone calls while you stay online, at less than ¼ the cost of a second
phone line (don't need Caller ID or Call Waiting, no special hardware); pays $7.50 per subscriber, single-tier
Internet
Success Spider
- unlimited-use online software that quickly
finds for you all the sites linked to one of your choosing (your
competition's, or yours?) and ranks them (a great way to find
"super affiliates"); pays 50% on the first tier, 10% on the
second
NameStick.com
- a wonderful way to increase your affiliate marketing commissions!
- as well as a means to other interesting domain name options... with super
domain name cloaking/referring; pays a $7.50 commission per sale,
single-tier
My
Affiliate Program
- set up your own affiliate program on their
server (see the primer section "Setting Up Affiliate Programs"
for details); pays 20% on the first
tier and 5% on the second
The
Paperless Newsletter Publishers Guide
- this e-book is a big surprise to many folks... being proof that selling
an ezine is perfectly doable and profitable, despite all the free ones
that abound (by Monique Harris, of Make Your Knowledge Sell! fame); pays
50% on a single tier
Postmaster
Express
- automated follow-up email software and more, to make life online so
much easier; unlimited autoresponders with mail merge (comparison to
GetResponse: your computer must be on 24/7 to respond to requests
for information), bulk emailing, contact database management; similar to
Mailloop, but more powerful, easier to learn, guaranteed, supported, and
$100 cheaper!; pays 20% on the first tier, 6% on the second
Site
Build It!
- cheap web hosting… but with all the expensive
trimmings!
- statistics especially for affiliates, by-the-hand set-up of
pages (or use HTML, as preferred), free domain registration, invaluable
help with pay-per-click SEs, automatic major SE submission, and more…
all of which would cost over $1000/year separately!; see the Quick
Tour Slide Show for a nice overview; SiteSell's 5 Pillar
Program pays 25% on the first level (scaled second tier) [...and check out
the monthly SBI sweepstakes!]
SureFire Premium
Processing - this could be
your most exciting affiliate program, if you have the right
connections (and they're certainly worth developing!)...
transaction processing for high-volume online businesses, another
SiteSell offering; pays $15 per lead and up to a $10,000 commission!!
Total
Merchant Services - this is the credit card merchant service
that's recommended most highly by so many businesses and webmarketing
gurus (not just because they have a great affiliate program,
though they do!)
- a sound company; pays a whopping $200 for referred
new clients, $100 on the second tier
Ultimate
Affiliate
- an excellent mid-range option for an affiliate
program setup (see the primer section "Setting Up Affiliate Programs"

- this is a wonderful way to market one's website!... on your car
window, door, or bumper

"decals" (sturdy and removable) with one or more lines of
text... including your easy-to-remember URL (they also have personalized
"just married" decals for newlyweds); pays 15% on the first tier,
5% on second
Xcleaner
- here's a means of cleaning up one's PC that goes beyond
virus scanners and firewalls
- efficiently detecting spyware and other unwanted
detritus and removing them from memory; a for-pay version is even more effective
than the free one; pays $10 per sale (plus ClickBank's tiny
second-tier bonus)
